Day Program Services

Grow Together. Thrive Together.

At Bridges, our Day Program isn’t just a place — it’s a space for connection, growth, and meaning. Here, individuals come together to set goals, stretch beyond limits, and build confidence in a community that understands and supports.

We work with each member to choose the activities they’re excited about — whether it’s art, outings, cooking, brain games, or volunteering — because your life, your passions, should shape your journey.

What You Can Expect

Each day is an opportunity to build, explore, and connect. Our program includes:

  • Skill-Building Activities — Cooking, budgeting, and home management

  • Creative & Artistic Projects — Art, jewelry-making, ceramics, and more

  • Recreation & Social Engagement — Board games, video games, community outings

  • Cognitive Exercises — Brain teasers, puzzles, memory & focus challenges

  • Gardening & Greenhouse Activities — Growing herbs, vegetables, and plants that support both our members and our animals

  • Bridges’ Barnyard — Hands-on animal care and farm experiences that build responsibility, compassion, and confidence

  • Out-of-Wall Experiences (W.O.W.) — On Saturdays, the group decides what’s next: a trip to the museum, park, local event, or city exploration

  • Wildlife Rockstars — Our unique education outreach led by members, blending conservation, animal care, and storytelling

And yes — breakfast, a warm lunch, and a snack are included, free of charge (we’re a CACFP-approved facility).

Why Our Day Program Matters

Life after brain injury or disability can sometimes feel isolating. But here, you’re surrounded by peers, guided by staff who care, and empowered to grow. Day Program becomes more than just services — it’s a stepping stone back to connection, creativity, and community.
