Independent Living Skills Training (ILST)

Independent Living Skills Training can help you learn, improve, or maintain life skills needed to live independently in the community by teaching strategies and techniques that can be used to help you manage your daily life. 

A ILST works one on one with individuals in their home and community developing goals they choose to become more independent in their daily activities. Each goal plan is individualized specifically to you and what you want!

These Goals May Include:

Budgeting

Maintaining & Organizing Their Household

Planning and Coordinating Medical Appointments

Health Management

Meal Planning and Preparation

Computer Training

Community Integration

Transportation Training

Self-Advocacy

Personal Care
