Labor Day a Weekend-Long Celebration

Another Monday is upon us. But fear not, it’s Labor Day. For most of us it means a three-day weekend away from the old grind. Labor Day traditionally marks the end of summer, although we officially have a few weeks on the calendar. If you’re still looking for something to do, here are a few ways to spend your long weekend.

Pick up the pigskin.
Most college football teams will be taking the field for the first game of the season. Get out and enjoy the weather and host a tail gate. Grill up some burgers and brats and toss around a football yourself.

Just relax already.
It seems there’s never time to relax anymore. Use this extra time to lounge around the house, host a favorite movie marathon or read a book. Take a trip to the spa and pamper yourself. It’s important to recharge and re-energize.

Labor on Labor Day.
We all have a project we never seem to have time to get done. Take the extra day to finally check one off your list. While we may be dreading the impending change in weather, it’s a great time to prepare for the months ahead.
